Clean, never really packed. I always stop here if I'm in the area, my old stomping grounds when I was young. They remodeled and put new playgrounds for the kids. It's a nice place that barely any people come to. Sad but good at the same time, nice place to come and relax alone for the most part.

Ok so it is always open but if there is no life guard you can not "safety swim "

Parking is free. I believe the beach is open until 7pm and opens at 7am normally. The park area is definitely open dawn til dusk.
