Just helped my son move to LA for college. Needless to say it was a daunting experience since we were moving from Delaware. We arrived in Glendale on a Sunday night. Looked at 40 apartments in two days!! By Wednesday morning we had narrowed it down to 4 potential spots. By noon, he made the decision on Legacy at Westglen. Here are the reasons why: 1. Location - only a short 1.5 miles from his school in a nice clean area just NW of Glenoaks Blvd. Easy bike ride. 2. Building amenities - Newer building with two gated underground parking spaces and large storage bins. Very clean heated pool and hot tub. Fitness center. Very clean and well maintained grounds. 3. Security - Not that this area of Glendale is unsafe in any way, however the security of the building put me at ease as a parent leaving his first born on the other side of the country. Parking and grounds are very well lit at night. 4. Apartment size and layout - 2br has common living space in the center with bedrooms and two full baths on left and right. Great for roommates. 5. Last but not in any way least was the “community manager” Vladimir!! This guy is nothing short of amazing. He is incredibly friendly and helpful and really put me at ease. Vlad went of his way to ensure that we toured all available units, answered every question and more. I can honestly say that after VIEWING 40 apartments, you really get a feel for who is running the place and how much they care. Vlad played a big part in our decision to lease from Legacy. If you do nothing else as a company... keep him as the manager! Lastly, nothing can be perfect so I do want to mention a few things that could be improved upon: appliances look to be original 20+ years old. They still function but are on their last legs. Showers are old and don’t really work as they should. If the appliances and bathrooms were updated this place would be a Grand Slam instead of a Home Run. Still 5-Stars!

Had a great three years there. Wish the rent was a little cheaper because eI would have stayed another year.
