The doctors were very kind and quickly helped a newborn kitten that was abandoned in a box. Thank you and blessing for work.

Register on the Stray Paws Website - they will then call you for an appointment. Their focus is on TNR, so if it is a personal pet, the appointment wait time will be quite a while, in that case, better off going through a private vet service.
Stray Paws and SGVAA are not a shelter. They do not intake cats and kittens. If you are willing to foster the kitten, they can provide you with a "Wait 'till 8" kit, which has everything you need to foster the kitten while they try to help find a rescue to take it in. Otherwise, if you take it to a shelter, it will likely be euthanized.
No. They are an organization that focuses on doing TNR for community cats.
Stray Paws can help you get the male cat neutered and returned, but they are not a shelter and do not offer relocation services.
I'm not staff at SPAH, but their primary focus is facilitating TNR activities. They also have a wellness clinic for cats that are being fostered or are in a rescue. While it's not unheard of, SPAH does not take in cats/kittens as part of their normal operating practice.
Everything is free. Just make an appointment before you go.
yes you do need a appointment
We can definitely assist with this
We currently do no have any free food giveaway events scheduled, however if you are in need of assistance with pet food, we partner with ASPCA. You can set up an appointment at one of their food pantry locations by visiting www.aspca.org/LA . Thank you for reaching out. We hope this helps.
