Fun experience for the whole family! Tickets are about 18$ and it's worth it for a 2 1/2 hr train ride!

Was not scenic at all. We seen more from the car ride in to the place. Train was cool and the ppl working was awesome. Very good at what they do. Was not worth the money at all.

Nelsonville is a very nice little town to visit the Hocking Valley scenic railroad is a nice place to take pictures. I did do the train ride the conductor of the train was one of the nicest he allowed us to take pictures with him and was …Glad your enjoyed yourself on our train, come back soon.

The ride was great! I went on the steam train. I sat in the air condition car at first, but it was not very cool. When we got out, I moved to the open car. This was wonderful! Was able to stand or sit & stayed cool while moving. Highly recommend it. The staff was nice!We are happy that you have enjoyed our steam special.

I think it would be just before the last train run of the day. It's only open on weekends most of the year.
It depends on how long of a train ride you take. The Santa train it's around $17 per person. I suggest looking on their website for train times and prices. I think regular prices are around $8. Either way, it's still the most inexpensive, nice train ride around. We go all the time because my son loves trains. Also, the people operating it are very nice.
$22 for adults, $17 for seniors and children
Our family were there June 6th, 2021 and no, almost all riders as well as staff were not masked.

Hello! It depends upon the train you want to take. On weekends the noon train to Haydenville is about an hour and 45 minutes, the 2:30 train to East Logan is around two and a half hours. Weekday fall foliage trains on Thursdays and Fridays depart Nelsonville at 1pm and last an hour and 45 minutes.
I just checked & looks to be sold out except for child tickets 3-5 years old to sit on laps

I believe they have a cool halloween ride and Christmas with Santa. Not sure of the dates
All sales are final. But they may let you reschedule if you are unable to make it for the day you bought tickets for.
The Santa one is about 2 hours train is a little slow it was 17.00
