This is an awesome place to stay! Weather was great while we were there! There is even a glider airport right beside here. They only run during the day so it's nice and quite at night! Owners are super nice folks. Will definitely be staying here when we come through again.

The RV park is quiet, clean, and the staff is friendly. They have bathrooms on site that are currently closed due to COVID. Other amenities include laundry facility, dump station, and electric/water hookups. All the spots are pull-through. The RV park is next to the glider port, so during the day you can watch the planes take off towing the gliders. Which our kids loved. There is also a restaurant at the glider port that has good food. Edit: The bathrooms and laundry facilities are open again.

This is a great spot for an overnight stay on your way somewhere and that is what most of the patrons seem to do unless they are here for the Gliderport. No open flames allowed, very little shade in the spots but great views of the mountains. Clean bathrooms and shower facilities. Laundry machines work off credit cards instead of coins which is a plus. Water amd power at the sites, dump station is free if you rent a space, but $10 if not staying. This is our second stay here, we have family in town and it is a great option to tow our trailer up instead of staying in a hotel.

Mountain Valley Park is a quiet and peaceful place to stay 😴💤 Roxanne was very helpful, courteous, and polite. A tremendous asset working with our schedule.

There should be plenty of room. We camped there with a 21' pickup truck and a 21' travel trailer and didn't have to unhook. It cost us $27 a night with our AAA discount.
It is a ways from the park. You can drive a little north on 58 and at Keene you can see the Tehachapi loop.
No.

You should probably call the office.
Yes
They do it by week. They do not have full hook ups but they have a dumping station on site and full power and water hook ups
There didn't appear to be any long term stays when we were there...
No. Tehachapi Mountain Park is a short drive from MVRVP. It is a nice drive up a wooded canyon road and is a good day-use area that offers endless opportunities for hiking and tent camping. The roads through the park are steep and narrow, not suitable for large campers or trailers.
Probably, at rate for tenters; not sure.
