Crabs were not good. No flavor at all. Not cooked with any seasoning. Plus we were told they were not all Maryland crabs that most were from Louisiana. You could tell. Don’t go there for crabs!

We were seated right away, but left after a few minutes because the place was just so dirty. More than a dozen dead flies on the window sill next to us and there was something smeared all over the wall which our table was up against. It looked as if neither had been cleaned in ages. The hostess was very nice, and we didn't want to be insulting but worried about the condition of the kitchen based on the filthy dining area.

Recent visit, prices have gone up I guess like everywhere else. We ordered the crab cake sandwich. Don't bother. It was horrible. It was not homemade. It was what I call factory processed, a whole lot of bread and filling no crab meat whatsoever

Okay, Bayside isn't amazing amazing, but hey, they have great crabs. It's a nice, quiet place and the food is consistent. Best hushpuppies I've ever had and I love hushpuppies. Service could be a little friendlier. You'd expect that from a neighborhood-type place.

Bayside Inn is a great hometown restaurant and bar. During season they serve the best local crabs in town. During the winter they normally get their crabs from Louisiana. The Colin Hubbard post on here is very inaccurate. I host a Maryland crab review page on Facebook. This is one of my favorite go-to places for crabs.
