Goodbye! Very sad for the decision of the park! There will be no lotus flowers next year!

Is it ok to feed the ducks bread?

Its common to feed them bread but its actually not good for them Ducks & Geese love food pellets made specifically for them, also greens such as cabbage, cauliflower leaves and lettuce. They will also eat leftover vegetables like cooked potatoes, carrots, parsnips etc although not all water fowl like ducks & geese like the same things and usually have to get a taste for things. So, if you still feel compelled to feed the ducks at Duck Lake, try these instead of bread: Corn (canned, frozen or fresh) Duck pellets (sold online and at pet stores) Lettuce, other greens (torn into small pieces) Frozen peas (defrosted) Oats (rolled or instant) Seeds (including birdseed or other varieties)
