OH DON'T WASTE YOUR DAY/TIME! Went there for the 2nd time (yes 2nd attempt) to get prenatal blood work done. Got there right after 11am and checked in, was told by their tablet that noon was my "appt." Althought walk-ins are accepted and only 1 gentleman was waiting in their wait room. I watched lots of people come in after me and get to go before me. Fine. But then I finally flagged down SOMEONE that appeared to work there, she told me my name would be called. It never was. Then I was the ONLY person in their waiting room, after enduring sitting next to another person who was clearly very sick. Not ideal to be trapped pregnant, in a pandemic, next to a very sick person. Finally the same employee (blond woman) came out and asked my name and said I was not on their list and to go back to their tablet and make an appt. I told her I did that, over an hour ago. Then about 5 people walked in and lined up out of nowhere. I asked if I had to wait all over again after all those people and she said yes. I asked if there was any other way to make an appt, since their tablet doesn't work. She said "yeah, online on that tablet." I left. And guess what?? I got to pay the max for parking in their garage for NOTHING! I'm going to have to tell my OB forget my basic blood work, I'm not going back a 3rd time.

Terrible service by appointment only the courageous workers only come out to tell you to call for an appointment and the place alone !!! You call to make an appointment and you get a machine and you start well and when you give the name the machine as a recorder repeats the same bad service by phone and in person... I already called the insurance company to find another laboratory provider !!! Quest diagnostic are not the only ones. They don't deserve any stars and I don't recommend them to anyone. Very bad service.

Easiest lab work experience I've ever had. I used the automated phone system to schedule my appt. I was going to do it on the website but didn't see an option to schedule a doctor ordered test. That's fine, the phone system was just as easy to use. I had to reschedule several times due to a constantly changing work schedule. Rescheduling was easy. Arrived 15 minutes early to allow time to find street parking (on Olive) and walk over. Got to the office 5 minutes before my appt, checked in, and was done 6 minutes later. I wish everything in life was this easy.

Call them to find out if the specific test needed is something that can be done.

how many days do i need to come in before my doctors apt

Remember that this is a testing facility and not a doctors office... If your Dr. has ordered lab work or tests to be done before your next appointment, you should call in to the lab to find out how long it would take for the results to be sent to your doctor. For example... On average, normal blood work can have results in just a couple or few days to be given to your doctor. Therefore, you would try to come in for your draw about 5 days to a week before your doctors appointment.

how do I get my lab results

Most of the time, when using such a place, the Dr. who ordered the work will get the results in a few days. Sometimes, depending on the order, the Dr. Can request stat and get the results the same day. It all depends on what type of lab work is being done and at what time was the draw. One can usually then get those results from their Dr.

How many days does it take for results to go to the doctor?

The results depends on several factors. Most important is the type of test required. The more common the test, then the turnaround time is quicker than work that has to be sent out to a lab. Equally important is how the doctor places the request. Example is if the doctor requests a stat turn around. I know this may not answer your specific question... but i hope it assists in knowing the process.
