On top of and already expensive membership they have a fee for everything. Terrible customer service. “We are holding members accountable by charging fees.” Please! You’re making money any chance you can by nickel and diming your customers. This program isn’t really anything other gyms aren’t already doing. At least other gyms don’t turn you away for any already paid for class for being 5 minutes late. Then charge you for an extra month when you cancel your membership.

Love this studio! The trainers at the UDistrict location are great--they get to know members personally, and help them adapt the daily workouts to fit their goals and needs. This place feels like a true family! I appreciate that the team here keeps the classes structured and under control, but know when and where to let members make adjustments, when to challenge people, and when to help them back off - it's a perfect balance. OTF itself is a really solid workout--the variety within and between each class keeps things interesting and engaging, and the blend of strength and cardio is effective for building strength and endurance over time. Every month, there's at least one benchmark workout or challenge so you can track improvement in different vectors (e.g. speed, distance). Unlike Barry's or other HIIT/bootcamp style gyms, Orangetheory consistently feels safer, with options for moves that might be too advanced for novices, and there's more attention and correction from coaches. There's still enough challenge for serious athletes, though, between the different stations and the rangae of exercises that blend traditional strength training with mobility/stability work and plyo.

We use heart rate-based interval training, which burns more calories post-workout than traditional exercise. When wearing our heart rate monitors, your real-time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels. To top it off, our fitness coaches lead the workout to prevent you from overtraining or undertraining.
