I have fallen 7 times, and Canyon Vista Post Acute was one of the places that I received the best care. Let me tell you though: Skilled Nursing and Rehab facilities are a place where they will give you back what you give them. If you work hard, they will do their best to take care of you. But if all you do is sit there and complain about the lack of service, they arent going to take you seriously. It can take 12-24 hours to get medicine straightened out as the medications come from an off-site pharmacy, therapy doesnt actually start until your 2nd full day there. Your 1st full day there the Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapist will come by the room to do an assessment and figure out a treatment plan. The most you will wait is 5 to 10 minutes after you press the call light. The Nurses Aide or CNA will see you more than the Nurse, but thats normal. Knowing the expectations will set you up for success. I'm happy to speak with anyone that has questions, but this facility is one of the better ones to go to.

Suzette the hr lady needs a new career. Had to argue with her for two hours about hours that she never put on my check. This happened for three checks! This place is just horrible in general but once they mess with your money it’s a wrap

My mother inlaw was a patient there for a week. The nursing staff was very attentive and caring. They were always quick to help and comforted her. She had sepsis and pneumonia and was quite anxious. The rehab department got her back to her normal self very quickly. The food was ok and in fact, if she ordered anything special, she got it. I would recommend Canyon Vista for anyone needing rehabilitation. One of the best places in town!
