I've loved The Smoke Shop for 25 years and I'm very happy to see an old-school Seattle institution brought back to life by a local owner who cares. The new trimmed down menu is a good value and the happy hour is a great deal. Love the pressure-fried chicken but wish I had the option to have it made-to-order like the Marco Polo so it arrives thermonuclear hot (even if it takes 25 minutes, more time to drink).

Classic diner style on one side and bar on the other. My husband and I went here while we waited for our tires to be replaced and the environment is so cool. We sat in the bar and as people came in, they were treated as family and everyone was familiar. Very cool to see. The food was classic diner food nothing great but no complaints.
