.The prices go up,, quality and service goes downhill. THE OWNERS take a cut of the servers tips. They rush you out so they can flip tables quicker. They only care about the "numbers".All the staff cares about is getting as many people in and out so they can think they are the busiest place around. They only "favor" certain waitstaff. The head server will make almost double than an average server. All a guest needs to do is just "watch" what goes on. They will talk to certain guests for prolonged periods of time. They give certain guests free food. They will serve these guests first, even if they weren't "first". The big tippers get priority attention, priority seating and always get their food right away. Even if you came in before them, you'll be waiting until they are served first. If I could give a 0 star, I would. If this family didn't have their uncle, they wouldn't even have this place. They used to be nice before. I was told by the co- owners that the guests don't come to see the waitstaff, they come to see them. The waitstaff and other employees are replaceable and expendable.

Great Greek Style diner with all the breakfast fixings! The pulled pork Benedict was delicious (if a little light on pulled pork) - seasoned well and the homefries were delicious. Keep in mind the homefries were definitely homemade instead of typical frozen variety, so they were a little softer and larger than some diners. Boston Creme Pancakes, another special, were stellar! Just what you would expect, light, fluffy and creamy. Didn't need any syrup to enjoy and were sweet without being mouth puckering (read: too sweet). Great, friendly service. Fair prices, nice clean atmosphere!

Great food and the perfect location for breakfast, brunch and lunch. If you live in or happened to be in the area it is a must. Highly recommended. Yet, be prepared to have a great customer service, big size portions meal and all for a very affordable price tag. However it is often very crowded on weekends and parking space might be limited.

Fantastic food and presentation! We’ve been searching for a New York /New Jersey-like diner and this place meets and exceeds our expectations, Dina was our waitress and was Grest!

Their normal business hours are 6am - 3pm but as of today (7/25/19) they made the following post on their social media account (Facebook) - To our Iron town family: We are temporarily closed until further notice. Iron Town Diner cares immensely about our customers and staff, nothing means more to us than their well-being. It has come to our attention that a foodborne illness may be present. We have willingly chosen to temporarily close to give us time to conduct thorough testing to ensure our employees and customers remain safe. Note, we are working with the Saugus Board of Health on this matter. They have permitted us to remain open; however, we believe it is in the best interest of our employees and customers to voluntarily close while further testing is conducted. I'd follow their Facebook page to keep up to date with when they will plan to reopen.
