Love the venue, seen Josh Blue and couldn't stop laughing. Definitely not much space for seating comfortably, my two friends barley fit behind their 12"x24" table but they are big people. Tight space for tall people as well. Maybe they need to think comfort over profits for a better experience.

Comedy Works South is an awesome club run by great people. Honestly, I like the layout slightly better than their downtown venue just because it feels more comfortable. South location has tables and more room to stretch out. Also, if you eat upstairs at Lucy Restaurant, you get preferred seating for the show. I’ve seen a handful of shows here including Craig Robinson, Norm Macdonald, and Josh Johnson! Each time I’ve left with a smile. Thanks Comedy Works!

Dinner at Lucy's was awesome, highly recommend the lemon chicken with asparagus and parmesan risotto, also the Lucy burger is a damn fine sandwich. The show was awesome, always love to see Dr. Fitzgerald as the host and MC, Michael Rappaport was worth waiting almost 2 yrs to finally see him. Overall I'm bever disappointed with the comedy club south

we got some great seats for tom papa! I like how open this theater is for comedy and the acts they book. love the vibe and the wait staff is so nice! they make sure you're taken care of, or they'll fix the problem asap. there is a 2 item minimum for these shows though, so add $8 min to your ticket price (water bottles or hot apple cider are the cheapest) OR I believe you can eat at the attached restaurant upstairs before your show (for a discount) and that counts as your 2 items.

It's a 2 item minimum per person, food and drink (non-alcoholic too)
They seem to be about 1hour and 30 mins to about 2 hours. But depends on the show and how many comics they have.
I saw Craig Robinson and Steve Byrne. Both great.
Normally yes but they do have an 18+ section on certain nights and on occasions will host an all ages show.
Call them and ask. Their customer support people are really nice.
Yes that is Jay Chandrasekhar from Super Troopers! See our full calendar at https://comedyworks.com/shows/calendar The events in blue are at our South club.
Yes. Doors open 1 hour prior to showtime. The ticket buyer should have received a confirmation email with all the details. For our 7:15pm show at Comedy Works South door actually open at 6:00pm.
I would definitely call them ahead of time, also get the name of the person you are speaking with, to be clear on their policy, if you get a different story at the check in desk then you have leverage to ask for what you want.
Not tha t I've seen. However, staff there is helpful with menu questions.

They are usually about 1 1/2 to two hours, the headliner is usually about an hour and the opener is usually about half an hour but they both might go a little longer. They do also seat everyone and get there orders first and that takes about twenty minutes. Give yourself at least two and a half hours three to be safe.
