I love this laundromat! Its so big and the prices are reasonable and affordable! They also have debit/credit card machines on every machine washers/dryers! The attendant that works there is a sweetie pie!And the number 1 thing i love about this place is its CLEAN!!

I am a travel heath care provider and use lots of laundromats. The smaller dryers are set up in favor of the owners as compared to other laundry companies. What I mean is .25 cents provides for 5 min of dryer time with 2 min in cool down mode. I tested 2 of the dryers and the heat as well as drying power is less than other places. I will use the Clothesline laundry (.25 cents is 7 min) instead because they don't do this and it takes me less money and time to dry my clothes. It's not about the quarters it's about the honesty in conducting business. As you can see from the reply this business owner doesn't deserve your patronage because he doesn't care about his customers at all unfortunately.

It’s a clean place with lots of machines. The only drawback is the dryers don’t get very warm and you only get 4 mins for .25. To dry a load of clothes here takes at least 40 mins where at other places I’ve been it takes 25 mins ( 6 mins for .25 )Jim: Thank you for taking the time to review us. I’m sorry that you didn’t have a 5 star experience. We try very hard to make The Sock Hop the areas Premier Laundry Experience. All dryers a thermostatically controlled to industry regulated temperatures. But for sure some fabrics/loads will dry faster (or slower) than others. I did want to just clarify the Dryer Pricing. Sock Hop is the Only Laundromat in Milford with 3 different Dryer Size Options. Our Standard Dryers, “25 lbs” machines are 5 Min for .25. Our Large Dryers, “50 lbs” are 4 Minutes for .25 . Twice the Volume, but not Twice the Money. Our Ex-Large Dryers, “75 lbs” are 3 Minutes for .25. Three times the Volume but not Three Times the cost. I hope this helps.
