I'll start with this: Hire Eileen Gould Design and Construction for all your remodeling projects. Years ago I saw Eileen win 2 episodes of the now long gone "Designer's Challenge" on HGTV and noted her contact information. She was local and most importantly a designer AND a contractor. I was pretty sure that would make the remodeling process pretty seamless. I was right. I, like everyone else, have heard the horror stories about contractors. No horror here! Just a professional and reliable experience. Friendly to boot! I told Eileen upfront, prior to hiring her, that I'm both very picky and want to be involved in the design. She pleasantly accepted all my feedback, changes, and sometimes issues. Eileen and her project manager, Kathy, were on top of things during my recent bathroom remodel. She and Kathy answered all of my many questions and were patient when I expressed some frustration. I will say that what made me the happiest was the communication as to when the sub-contractors would be arriving AND that either Eileen or Kathy would be there at the same time to ensure everything was on track. I was picky: pointing out some issues that were addressed immediately. Now that's good customer service. Krisie from Eileen's office was a delight to deal with and very professional. I'm so enjoying my newly remodeled bathroom and have been told it looks like a high end hotel bathroom and that it does! Thank you Eileen, Kathy, Krisie, and all the sub-contractors!

Eileen and her crew are the Best! Couldn't love my new kitchen, bathrooms and barn more. Her workers are trustworthy, neat and love animals. She worked with my budget and helped with several choices I will definitely use her again

This is my first review but felt inclined to do so after meeting with Eileen and discovering after the fact that she is highly unethical. Not only does she charge a high fee for her services but she also demands and receives “kickbacks” from all of her subcontractors that she works with. I spoke with a colleague of mine who has worked with Eileen and she was aware that she does this as well and told me she will never work with her again. I’m not sure if it’s illegal but it certainly seems unethical! I understand people need to make a living, but she is certainly doing a disservice to her clients that aren’t aware that she does this! I would rather work with a contractor who is more ethical and transparent. Hopefully this helps other people reading this before they sign up with her.

It is an absolute pleasure working with Eileen Gould. She has remodeled my guest house kitchen, three bathrooms, and rebuilt my main kitchen…which I just love, love! Eileen has a fabulous sense of design and decoration, and has guided us throughout the process, with her keen knowledge of construction. Her subs all provide a fantastic work product, directed by Eileen, who always delivers what is promised, in a timely fashion. The best!
