I was a bit worried that I was not ordering a Kosher Corned Beef sandwich like I would do in a Jewish deli. However upon my first bite, I was very impressed. The flavor was EXCELLENT! The accomanied American Fries were also very tasty.

great food! great food! oh yeah did I say great food? felt like no-one wanted to take care of our party until we warmed up with them. great concept to have auto gratuity (18%) to keep the staff happy.

Called ahead to schedule for takeout. When I arrived they hadn't even started making our order. I waited 25 minutes before our fish finally came out and when I asked if we could get a discounted price I was told that wasn't that long to wait. Best part was this nice little sign i stood next to the whole time... The food was good though so there is that.

Went for a Friday Fish Fry and was disappointed on several different aspects of the visit. The Walleye, despite having a great deep-fried appearance, was kind of mushy and did not have very good flavor at all. The service was also very disappointing as we waited 50 minutes to get our food when the restaurant was not terribly busy after the dinner rush. TO make matters worst, the server only returned to drop off our food after bringing our drink orders-not a single check up. I gave two stars for the benefit of the doubt that we just got a bad service for the evening and that the fish was just not great that night. I would like to try again in a few months.

The food is why I've gone. And it was very good (corned beef and hash). Instead of complaining about drink prices, simply dont drink there. No need to complain. FYI no affiliation.

Dont go after 4pm. But in the afternoon you should be just fine.
Street parking. I usually park in the residential area around the corner; west of the McBob's. The Rubens are worth the trek.
