Kid at the counter was disrespectful. Threw my boyfriends bag down on the floor & when asked to be careful next time, he just laughed. everyone’s attitude was horrible except for one girl. i got dirty looks from everyone in there & this store is just absolutely going downhill. never going back

I went in to sell my clothes and was unaware of the ID policy. it was quite frustrating when no employees knew the policy themselves. I came in with a large garbage bag that I was clearly struggling with and no one offered a hand. All employees had terrible attitudes. I walked outside the store and was able to have someone drop off my ID to the store. I went BACK in with the large falling apart bag and told the girl we could begin and my ID was on the way. I was then told I can’t be in the store with my clothes and that it is a LIABILITY. At this point I was beyond frustrated that i had dragged this bag in and out of the store. As i was about to exit the bag busted at the bottom (still no one offering a new bag or a helping hand), so I asked for a bag and reluctantly was given one. As i was transferring the clothes into the new bag, a woman went up to the counter with clothes and asked to sell them (just as I had done) and the girl who had told me no and I need an ID went ahead and helped this women without looking at any form of ID. Finally I was able to go in and give me clothes for them to appraise. I am currently now waiting on that appraisal. Needless to say save your time and energy and DO NOT COME HERE

They do sell new clothing (have seen things with the tag still attached) however only adult clothes
Yes, they are very selective about the brands and clothes thwy select. They're usually no more than a season or two old
The brands vary from store to store. But all the clothing is name brand. If someone has sold that clothing line to Plato's closet, they may have a record of what store those articles are in. Hope that helps.

Sure do. I actually bought a pair of sneakers there once. They were brand new in that case. But they do purchase and resell used footwear as well.
