Good customer service, but lacking employees. Been I'm there a few times and I have to search pretty hard for help. When I find it though it is good customer service.

I ordered online, a week and a half later part of the order had not arrived. I needed them for a class so the afternoon of the class I ordered them a second time for buy online pick up in store within two hours. I went to the store 2 hours later, order was not ready. Staff told me I could go see if they had them and buy them again and offered no help nor direction where to find them and told me I could try to cancel the pickup order but they couldn't help. So essentially, I had to pay for the order three times... Visit the store twice, once to walk in and shop as if I hadn't placed any orders, once more to return the original order after receiving it late, and on top of that wait for the pickup order to be cancelled for non-pickup (I received a notice the next day that it was ready to be picked up) a week later and a credit to my card nearly a week after that. Lesson learned, Michaels online ordering is a far cry from Amazon, or eBay, or nearly any other retailer I have shopped with in the past decade.

Best craft store around, certainly far better than any other national chain. If you want unique things you want to go to local stores. But if you need most things hit Michael's.
