Excellent, large area to take your dogs. 99% of people and their dogs are friendly and well behaved. 3 areas for different types of play. The largest is for “high energy” dogs, where most of the group interacts. There is a medium size area for “low energy” dogs, best used to burn some energy off before joining the pack. And, a smaller area with some obstacles for play. It’s also well maintained by the city.

We stopped here on a roadtrip across the country to let our dogs get some exercise. It was well worth the stop! The park itself is huge so the dogs were able to run their little hearts off, but there are also trails outside of the off-leash area for walking and amazing views of the mountains.

Great dog park! Large, high energy section, low energy section, dogs are all friendly, it’s never overcrowded, great place to take your dog any time of the day! They will enjoy themselves :)

Fine neighborhood dog park. I like that it’s bigger than most basic, fenced in gravel parks. This one is kind of landscaped so that’s nice. No parking lot immediately adjacent to the park so it’s a total hassle if you have multiple dogs. No water available from what I can tell which is always a bummer. I wouldn’t avoid it but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way for this dog park.

I have arrived past the Google listed closing time on several occasions and there it is always open and others are there
It is the northern most part of the dog park. It is fenced.
The parking area for the dog park is on 4th Place which is right behind Big Bear Ice Skating Rink so you could look that up in GPS. Hope this helped
The dog park is not near the parking area.. you have to take the trail about a quarter of a mile before actually reaching the park
There's plenty of parking along the main road through the park. Park by the bridge near the Yosemite entrance to the park.
