Their service is terrible and the staff is rude. I would never go to this place other than I have to take a drug test here.

Called ahead to see if we could be seen, they said they were busy but due to the nature of my sons injury they’d fit him in. I got there 15 minutes later and was told they wouldn’t even try. Staff was rude as well.

The people there seem nice enough however, it is incredibly difficult to get seen there. After waiting hours they want 100 upfront just to be seen not including testing of any kind that may need done. Don’t waste your time there if you don’t have to.

I like this place, that’s why give them 3 stars. What I don’t like is that my 19 year old son was sick and even with his permission I (his mother) wasn’t allowed to go with him in room. I can name about dozen things why I should be with him in room. I personally like someone to be with me when I’m sick. It is hard to control pain and follow all what doctor say. I hope this will be something that prompt care can work on it. 👍

Yes
Promptcare can file claims to Aetna, but individual plan coverage varies greatly. Patients should always confirm coverage with their insurance plan if they are unsure of benefits.
PromptCare can submit claims to any of the current Kansas Medicaid plans, but you should always contact your plan directly with any coverage or benefits questions. A current Kansas Medicaid ID card and photo ID are required to submit claims. PromptCare is not a provider for any out of state Medicaid plans.
Yes. We are always physician staffed and able to repair wounds with a variety of treatment options, including stitches if needed.
Excellent question. This would depend on which illnesses were being tested for. PromptCare can collect these tests 7 days a week, without an appointment, but generally the lab bills the patient's insurance plan directly for testing. Please call the office directly at 785-838-1510 for self-pay pricing on specific tests.
PromptCare is a very affordable place for self-pay patients to receive care. An urgent care visit at our clinic is a small fraction of the cost of an emergency room visit and often much less even than a primary care clinic visit. Self pay patients are require to pay a $100 deposit at registration. Unfortunately we do not know what the final total is until the patient is done being seen, as we do not know what resources were needed until that time. We are able to do many labs and xrays right in the office.
While we cannot offer medical advice over the internet, our office treats urgent care patients seven days a week without an appointment.
We can typically perform DOT Physicals without an appointment. If your employer is being charged for the service, they will need to send authorization for the charges. The best times to come for DOT exams are Monday - Friday between 8am and 4pm, but we can usually do an exam anytime we are open.
Great question. Our urgent care is all walk in. You never need an appointment to see an experienced physician at our office. You can pre-register online with a zip pass, which can make the process go a little faster as times, but is not necessary.
