The owner of this company Mark was incredibly rude to me on the phone today. I have taken my business elsewhere.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Right at Home and the service they provided for our family during my Father In Law's hospice stay. They went above and beyond, from immediate scheduling to scheduling changes to just being here. The people that cared for Dad were instrumental in making his journey peaceful. Special Thanks to Gayla, for the many visits and conversations, and to care givers, Roland, Dan, Sharell and especially to Carla for being here at the end, reading scripture to Dad and giving us such peace of mind that she was here for him and for us. I highly recommend Right at Home for anyone looking for that extra special care for their loved one.

Such a wonderful company to work with. Brian and staff are amazing and will all go above and beyond! It's difficult finding a place to help care for your loved one that exhibit true care and compassion and this group of wonderful people do exactly just that! Wouldn't use anyone else!

There are not enough words to say about Right At Home. I thought it would be difficult with Covid finding a company that would be able to give us the hours that we need. This was not the case I told them my schedule and they had no problem working around it. I was so thankful for that, I was also happy that the caregivers were professional and were always busy taking care of our needs I felt safe leaving the house. Last but not least Beverly and Brian were able to sit down and explain and walk mom and I through what they called a “care plan” I was amazed and how the care givers stuck to it. I highly recommend Right At Home to anyone needing care for their loved one. Thank you.

Our caregiver training occurs in multiple ways: 1) in-office hands-on training using special equipment and a real "client" 2) video/module training and education 3) various specialty trainings and in-services related to specific diseases and working with community partners like home health and hospice 4) on-shift training as it is deemed appropriate. On-shift training entails a Lead Caregiver or skilled member of the office team working with a caregiver on-shift to ensure the caregiver is equipped to provide the highest care to that client in their unique environment. All our caregivers are monitored in several ways via our Caregiver Go App. This includes caregiver monitoring, pre-shift screening, and clocking in/out of every shift. Every time a caregiver completes a visit with a client, the caregiver records the tasks they completed with that client on that visit. This allows the office to track what is and is not being done by tasks, as well as provide feedback to the family regarding care when needed. Our system also allows the family's access to this information online.
All our caregivers are our own W2 employees, and we do NOT use any 3rd party caregiver staffing. Our agency completes in-person interviews and in-person orientations with all new hires. We complete a background check with national, state, and county searches, the sex offender registry, and DMV checks. We also utilize the Employment Disqualification List, Family Care and Safety Registry, E-Verify, and two national Medicaid/Medicare abuse and fraud trackers. All employees have background checks done annually as well. We also complete drug testing at time of hire and on any reasonable suspicion thereafter.
There are several factors we consider when matching clients and caregivers. Our goal is to have caregiver consistency as much as possible and not rotate through caregivers. We consider several factors: caregiver skill set and client skill need, availability of caregiver and the schedule the client needs, travel time between client and caregiver, longevity of the match, etc.
You would have to ask the office but I think most of us do.
$12-14 at least that was for the staffing coordinator position, however they say they offer competitive pay as well.
