True Light Church of the Nazarene is a part of the True Light Ministry which is a day time place for homeless women to go to to get out of the cold I do believe they are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. they offer breakfast which is early I believe around 8:30 a.m. and in between you have Bible studies and showers are available if you feel like you would like to take a shower they offer a clean towel and all the toiletries that you will need. Then lunch is served. lunch which is at 12 noon, I can't say for sure how long that's last but I would say for at least an hour I could be wrong but I thought I were you I would check just to make sure. And then starting at 1 p.m. they offer showers again and you can take a shower I haven't been there yet. But the lady who has ran the place has done it wholeheartedly and with much love for a very long time I remember several years ago I had brought home from work several used cardboard boxes of eggs liquid eggs so it was too much food so we donated to this True Light Ministry and they were so happy to receive our donation it made me feel really good be able to help somebody who was less fortunate that I. I don't know what other services they offer because I have never really been in there but the lady who runs the place does so with a tender heart and a kindness that surpasses anything I've ever seen she has diligently patiently and ever so lovingly worked with these homeless women offering them a warm place to go offering them Bible study and God and a chance to better their lives. This is a woman who loves her work you can tell because she is diligent at always having those doors open and a hot meal for these women you have no place to go and when it is very cold out freezing at least they can come here to the True Light Ministries and seek shelter From The Storm of life and across the street is the True Light Church of the Nazarene I'm sure services are held there frequently their hours and when they do I do not know for I am not a Nazarene I've heard a lot about Nazarene but I will attend their service with an open mind heart and spirit regardless of what I heard I will release all negative implications that might surround my mind when thinking about the Nazarene Church only because someone has tainted my thoughts with their words of discouragement and negativity regarding this church not this church here in general but just the Nazarene Church. I go in open heart and I'm willing to learn new things so I'm very Meek and teachable and we'll see what kind of church this is all about but this woman love for these women is unprecedented and she should get a award I'm sure she has many accomplishments and awards under her belt for the things she has done and helping the community solve and help the disenfranchised and homeless women a Kansas City Missouri we take our hats off to you man God bless you
