I’ve been seeing Dr. Pena for over 10 years. He’s a brilliant clinician, compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He takes his time to go over lab results and always gives the best advice. The wait to see him can be long but has gotten a little better. This is because he spends quality time with each patient. He’s the only doctor I know who doesn’t stop being your doctor when you leave his office; he interacts with you even when you see him outside. Phenomenal physician who genuinely has your best interest at heart. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Peña started doing well, friendly and good bedside manners. Over time that changed and it was taking hours to see him and listen to his silliness. He moved from patient oriented to business oriented. He stopped taking seriously my medical complaints and did not order tests that would have given an accurate diagnosis. Instead he said that my problems were due to age; which I believed at the time. It took a great nurse to notice that something was not right with me. She ordered tests and found out that I have a neurological disorder. I never went back to Dr. Peña . I kept the nurse has my primary medical profesional until she left. I was devasted to see her leaving although it was for a better job conditions a well deserved one for this angel disguised as a nurse. Now, I'm still trying to fine a good primary healthcare professional. I honestly hope Dr. Peña goes back to be the great professional he once was.
