The employees were helpful, friendly, professional and kind. They went above and beyond to help me get my aunt’s license plate problem solved. Highly recommend.

The poor people behind the counter are helpful. But, I've been waiting 1hr 1/2 for # 36. My count is 40 people waiting. Right now they are serving #22. 2 people working. The worst though is the man sitting at the information desk barking at people, yelling and threatening a woman who obviously has mental health issues. At least 20 people are outside on the heat. You cannot come in unless there is an empty chair. This seems more like a 3rd world country, but it's right here in KC.

This place is way too small. Handicap and disabled individuals have to wait in the heat. They never answer the phone. Lady at the door handing out tickets is very rude.

Went to get my driver's license renewed at 2:30pm on a Monday. My ticket was 10 spots away (ie. 50 and the sign was at 40 when I walked in). Done by 3:30pm (10 numbers away=1 hour today). Roughly took each person called 7-15 minutes with 2 workers calling them. It got much busier as it got later, and by the time I left all chairs were full with a few people waiting outside. The person working the desk was extremely kind/helpful, and the person working at the door was also great. I wouldn't recommend planning to go after 3pm (if possible) based on how many people were there by 3:30pm. Overall it wasn't nearly as bad as other reviews were saying, but also it's a fairly small space with the seating area <4 feet from their public unisex bathroom. So you're waiting by the busy front door or by the bathroom (pray that no one needs to use it). When it fills up, some people wait outside so dress accordingly. I'll likely be back if I'm still living nearby, but I'll also still have a little anxiety about how it's understaffed (where's a DMV that isn't?) and how it could be crowded. Bring your documents! At least 3 people had to leave, after waiting, to get them in that one hour. The mo gov website was really useful with a pdf checklist, and there's no harm in bringing a couple extra just in case.

Yes you can. You might have to wait outside because of the covid-19. Only a certain # of people in the building at one time.

They do not have appointments, walk in only. They only let a few people inside at a time to maintain social distancing. There's someone who hands out tickets with #s on them, then calls out #s to allow people in. Expect at least a 2 hour wait. Had a 4 hour wait yesterday.
