I reported theft, they come and asked me questions like I was the suspect. Very disrespectful people, impudent. I think police department need to re-educate many of them for the manners.

Not impressed. I parked in a handicapped spot at Olathe West Walmart. Was in there about an hour, went back to my car to find a yellow citation sticker on my windshield, realizing I forgot to put my tag up. I stayed in my car and called the number on the ticket and it said the wireless customer can’t be reached. I called the Olathe police department and asked what I should do and see if the person writing the ticket can come back out so I didn’t have to go to court in the middle of September. They said they would send someone out. Apparently the person that wrote the ticket is a volunteer and the officers that came out couldn’t even get ahold of him. They said there was nothing they could do. But he’s a volunteer, couldn’t they have said we will make a note, they knew who it was. A police officer doesn’t have a say over a Volunteer. That’s just sad. I didn’t put my tag up but I called to right my wrong, now I have to waste time going to court when the officers could have done something about it. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! Not impressed The officers were nice but not helpful

My home was burglarized in the middle of the afternoon by a man on bond for burglary who was later given probation. If you want to get rid of crime get rid of bonds and probation.

Did absolutely nothing to help me find my missing teenage daughter. Told me the detective was “off until Monday” and would call me when he was back in the office, I’ve never heard a word. Had to search the streets of Denver Colorado to find her myself. Great job guys!

Are you asking about getting your car jumped from a dead battery? I would suggest calling the non-emergency and ask if they'll do it, but with liability these days, most places have even stopped assisting with unlocking vehicles. There's a lot of risk involved on their part.
You have to go to the station and fill out an application to ride along.
You can go to the public entrance and ask for an application. Or just Google "how to apply for Olathe Police Dept" Everything can be done online as well to start the process.
