My experience with them was not good since the lawyer who treated me gave me prices and everything for my process and sadly after a few months they call me that it could not be done as they had said that it was 7000 dollars for everything approximately what they were initially 5000 just for the residence application, the truth is that sometimes one is not very well educated but truly for the people who have just arrived from Cuba with so few resources, those prices must be more considerate with a piece of paper that later Catholic Charities would give me for free, They cut me off the case because it was a lot of money for me and well bye and take care of yourself minus 2000 dollars.

Hello !! Canizares lawyer please I could see your last video live and in relation to the possible approval of the bill, my question is, what is an approved visa in the case of brother petition. Thank you very much.

Dolly Garcia | Sep 10, 2021
Canizares Law Group, LLC | Sep 10, 2021

The petition is the I-130 form. The person who claims it files an I-130 and once it is approved, they have to wait for their visa. The category of a brother to brother petition is F4, and they usually have to wait 13 years to be able to apply for a visa. The proposed Law allows beneficiaries who have an approved petition to come to the US and wait for the visa period here.

Hi, only ICE can give you a parole. But the parole I recommend that you present your asylum and must do so within a year.

Supposedly he tells you from your desertion. But your family can go and ask in your city from when you appear as deserters and that is the date you should keep in mind.

I was claimed in 2015 by my sister citizen I was approved by the visa I paid the affived I am now in the parol program if I show up at the border that could happen I would lose my reclam

You do not lose the claim but neither does that parole give you any kind of benefit at the border.

Claim my daughter in 2017 I am an American citizen the case is an i 130 I have not yet been told if it is approved that I should do

You can notify USCIS that you are already a citizen by writing a letter to the center that has your daughter's case and sending a copy. In any case, these requests are delaying approval.

When a Cuban arrives at the border and applies for credible fear with arguments and real facts and is approved, how long can he stay in detention until he is legally released?

Yoel ramirez | Sep 11, 2019
Canizares Law Group, LLC | Sep 11, 2019

The length of detention at the border depends on the center where you are and the officer handling your case. Please note that parole is discretionary and not all parole requests are approved.

Good night, I have a Cuban nephew and his wife, both on their way to the border, he was intercepted once by the American coast, he was in several days, Haste, was taken to the Bahamas, 3 months, he would apply for credible fear

Yoel ramirez | Sep 11, 2019
Canizares Law Group, LLC | Sep 11, 2019

Yoel recommend that you call the office to explain well 305-680-0036. You can request a credible fear interview but if when you were brought to the Bahamas you were placed with a deportation order then you can only request Reasonable Fear which is more difficult to prove.

In January I have been in the US for the year, I do not have Parol, but I am in the asylum process, I have work and social permission, I can apply for a Parol through you to apply for the Cuban adjustment law.

My niece has been claimed by her father for 3 years as a single daughter and is already married, can she appear at the interview as a single daughter or should the status of her father's claim for parol be changed before the interview?

Nereyda Rodríguez | Sep 11, 2019
Canizares Law Group, LLC | Sep 11, 2019

It depends, if the father is a resident he loses the petition. If the father is a citizen, he can add the husband. You would have to notify USCIS that you are already married.

I would appreciate it if you could explain to me how to pay the DS 160 here in Miami if you filled out the form in Cuba.

Keilin really that is a personal decision and not something of immigration. The reality is that if you change your last name you have to change your credentials including your license to practice as a Physician.
