I had stenosis, spine pressing on nerves coming from sciatic region, for a long time. I am generally wary of surgery and doctors and tried to check everything out thoroughly with several surgeons, some of whom refused to operate because of my age and cardiac condition. Many did not accept Medicare. Dr. Ghasem came highly recommended by doctors I trust, accepted Medicare, and performed surgery so that my chronic pain almost vanished completely immediately after recovery from operating table. This recovery was not due to local anesthetics but lasted indefinitely. I gave up using pain medication. Service was wonderful; I was never kept waiting long as with several other doctors, and Dr. Ghasem was even so accommodating as to let me choose the hospital where surgery was performed. I don't think you can go wrong here, and unlike with other surgeons that sent up a red flag, I was not asked to sign an "arbitration agreement" before doctor would see me.

I was involved in a car accident and was sent to see Dr. Ghasem, I am so grateful I received this referral. He went above and beyond with his treatment plan and care. He listened to all my concerns and has excellent communication and follow through as well as impeccable beside manner. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

We welcome our patients to have in person examinations and consultations with our clinical experts. Our primary priority is of course keeping you safe and we take the necessary precautions in our offices so that you are able to speak with Dr. Ghasem directly.
Yes. There is a valet and self parking option in our 2080 Century Park E office. Parking in the structure all day can be done for $20.
We do accept insurance. Dr Ghasem is contracted with Medicare and several PPO companies. A substantial portion of our patients are out of network as well. If we are not partnered with your insurance company, we do our very best to make our services affordable so that you get the highest level of care at fair market cost.
Yes. We have several patients who request orthopedic spine consultations from across the country and patients who feel more reassured performing the visit from the comfort of their own home. We consciously have made telehealth an integral component of our medical practice. Let us help find a time that works well for you.
A large portion of the patient’s we see are non-surgical. With a few exceptions, surgery is a last option for us. We will always go over the best-suited treatment options and give you our wholehearted recommendations, and let you make the decision that best meets your individualized health goals. If surgery becomes necessary, we are here to walk you through each step of the process. From pre-operative planning to post-operative care, we want to make it all feel seamless.
