Hemet was the third U-Haul place I went to I went to a place in Paris California, Moreno Valley California and absolutely walked out due to the rudeness and I would not do business with them, I told my girlfriend let’s try Hemet and they were very friendly and nice and I was surprised because Hemet gets a bad rap. I definitely feel comfortable spending my hard earned cash with them and would definitely recommend this U-Haul

So this place needs to catch up with U-Haul. Both picking up and dropping off my U-Haul was so incredibly annoying and cost me money! The website prompts you through an entire routine to pick up your truck stating you can skip the line and after following all the directions and finding a truck and verification of my license and the truck condition it prompts you to the check out counter to go past the line and to the side where your key is waiting. NOPE! They made me RUDELY wait in line. Told me I needed to confirm my info with them ..so i did that and then i was directed out where the guy had a different and dirty truck for me that they used the check in for the other truck to say that i accepted it as was. Upon return. I was told unless I wanted a ,$20 convenience fee to check it in myself. You have to take a bunch of pictures of the truck, the mileage,. The gas and I'm doing all this and i finish and leave the key and go to walk away (the guy had stood there and let me do all that like i was accomplishing something and when i try and leave he tells me that i have to check it in with him and I said i did not want to pay. He said they didn't mean that. But yet my total is $20 more than I was supposed to pay. Do your customers a favor and do what your company asks the way it asks. I won't rent a U-Haul from them again. Worst service. Rather drive to anywhere else.

Giving a 2 star due to lot attendant Austin being extremely rude to me when I arrived and threatening to not give me the trailer I reserved after being very rude to me......assistant manager wasn't much help defending her rude employee and didn't care bout how I was treated woulda been 1 star but other lot attendant Jose was a great help in helping hook up my trailer, make sure everythin was workin and even getting the adapter for my suv to hook the lights up to my trailer. Jose ty so much for ur help and Austin u need to learn to respect customers or find a diff field to work in cuz ur customer service sucks
