If I could give this place a million stars I would. We drove 90 minutes this week to come to Kowaloneks. It more than lives up to the hype and its reputation. We walked away with so much food to try and so far, it is all amazing. First, the staff is amazing. The gal who took care of us told me she would put my bacon bombs in a separate bag and added napkins in case we want to nibble the warm bombs on the ride back. She was right and we did hit them on the way home. Yesterday I made the kielbasi burgers with the kielbasi mac and cheese & it was soooo good. We have been nibbling on all the sticks and various meats and they are just all delicious. I would definitely drive 1.5 hours again to re-stock.

One of 3 places to purchase kielbasa in the town of Shenandoah Pa. Everyone is so kind. At Kowalonek's it's a one stop shopping experience. Homemade meatballs, pierogies, potato kishki, breads, lunch meat, chicken etc. Plus kielbasa sticks that r flavored w pineapple, cheese, etc. and kielbasa loaf, sliced if you like. Pepper bacon, regular and much more in the coolers n freezer. You won't be disappointed.

A 2 hour ride but worth the trip. Best kielbasa ever and a lot of selection. We try to make this trip every 3-4 months. Friendly and helpful staff...

It is always worth the 45 min drive! Monday before Easter was a busy day, but I'm sure as the week moves along the line wil be outside. They have a bunch of people working and it goes quick. Want Kielbasa? It's the place to go!
