From San Antonio to California sat and ate at Flame the salad to potatoe lasagna to sliders and lets not forget the Pizza all taste delicious. I am back home and wish we had a Flame here in San Antonio. The beer el Jefe was awesome.

I've lived like a half mile from this place for years and can't believe I waited this long to try it out. If you have good taste for pizza, or if you have ever tried to make a traditional pizza at home, you will truly appreciate this place. Owned by the chef himself who slaves away in front of that HOT wood fired oven. Try the Richie, try that 1000 layer potato appetizer thing, you will not be disappointed. The rest will take care of itself. Also they have the good high % ABV drafts i'm looking for when I want to sit down for a drink! forgot to add: MUST EAT PIZZA THERE! I've tried take-home. It does not work. Even 2 minutes in the box will ruin your pizza. It must be consumed as quickly as it was constructed for best pizza.

I have no idea why people rate this place so high, cause it wasn’t good at all. All our pizzas were bland and lacking in taste, they were soggy and even the salad didn’t taste good. On top of that it’s completely over priced for what you get.
