If u are a Black male or female do not go to the school in Sylmar!! They are racist and don’t want to see our ppl achieve anything. They are a sorry excuse for a training school. They also are not truthful at all. Go to LA or a complete different school

It all started eight months ago when I started this journey. Having been turned away from one school due to unforeseen circumstances, I was able to land at GSF trucking & Bus Driving school. With knowledgeable instructors and a friendly administrative staff that was able to answer any questions I had, I was able to see my potential in trucking! I didn’t know my skill set coming in but my instructors instilled in me confidence that I could do this trade. I’m beyond grateful for this school and the skills and knowledge I’ve gained on the road and in life. I highly recommend this school for anyone that wants to pursue a career and truck driving.

Such a great experience at this school. I wanted to give up and quit cause I'm so hard on myself but the owner told me to believe in myself that I CAN do it. Every Instructor is different but I had the privilege to learn from each and every one of them. Not only do u practice in school but GSF also has a zoom class every Saturday where u can learn from a great instructor name Albert and among the rest of the students in zoom. I will definitely recommend people to this school. Thank you to each and everyone of you in this school that believed in me 😘

Thats a good question Joel. If you are pursuing a class A CDL it will take 2 to 3 months depending on your willingness to study and put in the necessary hard work. It can be completed relatively quickly if you dedicate yourself to it.

Jon D (Stocks and Huskies) | Sep 10, 2020

GSF has placement opportunities, but you need to know what lifestyle you want to have. Class B is close to home, but lower pay than Class A usually because they work you as they need you. Class A will start out over the road 80% of the time and end up away from the house 50% of the year or more. ~1800-3800 for classes depending on whether you took the written, DMV test on your own

You can request spanish, as there are instructors that speak Spanish. Keep in mind that the DMV requires the test to be done in English.
