Nice place with a wide selection to pick from. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. I had the chicken covered in spinach dip and provolone and it was very good. Will definitely visit again during our travels!

My bartender this afternoon was extremely kind and professional. Drinks are 2/3 of the price of Bull Run across the street. Not to mention their A/C actually works. You'll be cooler outside than inside the Bull Run. My drink was perfectly strong and cold. Atmosphere is very laid back and peaceful even for a busy weekend. Can't wait to come back.

Horrible reviews. Not only did we sit there for 45 minutes or longer waiting for our food. She never came back to we wanted another drink.....though chatting with a large group or 6 or 8 carrying on. She needs replaced

Super friendly staff and helpful. First time on PA and everything around here was closed so I thought why not! Beautiful little town and everyone seems friendly. The calamari is tasty. Now to dig into the Philly cheesesteak and the fish tacos. The lady at the bar recommended I do both provolone and cheddar on the Philly so we shall see!! 😁🤘

Wear your mask to your table, then you can take it off. The employees are wearing masks. The tables are not social distanced apart.
Brenden is the owners son. He died as a teen. It is still the towne tavern.

Yes...I've seen kids there though keep in mind that it is a bar and can get quite loud. If you're coming with your family you should request a table in the back room.
