Another club of Cuban origin and ownership in downtown Miami, located just northwest of the University of Miami, near the intersection, on the left, between 40 (Bird Road) and 959 (or SW 57 Ave ..). .. Cuban coffee shop yes, but local (one of the many of the "Blue Sky Food by the pound" chain ..) where you can enjoy a simple coffee or a substantial breakfast, as well as a full meal ... next to the counter of the bar, in fact a large display case develops in length where a series of gastronomic dishes of all kinds are displayed, from appetizers, to first courses (pasta, cannelloni, lasagna ...) to meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan dishes, which are they can enjoy on site or collect in comfortable doggy-boxes to consume at home or in a hotel / residence ... simple, essential, but always well maintained and clean, the cuisine, Cuban / Latin, is truly excellent, as also the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, all at very honest prices ... 4 stars only because, if you decide to eat on the spot, the space, the tables and the chairs are a bit narrow and also the environment, let's say that it does not create a great "atmosphere", especially for the couples (even the eye wants its part. ..), but excluding this, stopping here is always a VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE; -p; op ;-)

Delicious cafe con leches, empanadas, and other Cuban style dishes. Previous 5-star rating has been lowered, because, as other reviewers have also pointed out, the treatment of customers by a couple of the workers (not all) can be unkind; recently this treatment was experienced firsthand to a degree that I have stopped going there.

This place isn't what it used to be. I used to buy often but not anymore. Very small portions and the price has increased a lot. The customer service is awful. Also, they are charging 8% sales tax when Miami Dade tax is 7%.
