In general, I have no major comments, rental equipment rather low-end, but also from the beginning you know what you are ordering. Service is fast and efficient, in also do not expect something like a family of cyclists, rather you are treated like another customer, I describe this based on experience from other rental companies in the US, where you feel a little more like a buddy from overseas. Unfortunately you also need to pay attention to the bike reservation system because it does not take into account that on Mondays the store and rental is closed, I hope they will fix this soon.

It was so nice to be able to rent a real road bike while I was looking for apartments in Philly! It was so easy to reserve online and quick and easy to pick up and return. I will definitely be recommending Fairmount Bicycles to my future visitors :)

We are still not letting anyone in the shop. We're offering curbside sales and service, including test rides and rentals. We all wear masks, and we require customers to do the same. Roughly 50% of our staff is vaccinated.
Hi George! Our tuneups are currently $78.70+tax and include cleaning the bike, truing wheels, adjusting brakes, derailleurs, lubricating all cables and adjusting all bearing systems. I'd say we do a good job! :) Not one to claim we've never made a mistake, but we take our work seriously and want to make sure our customers get to safely enjoy their bikes.
