Wonderful rescue, highly recommend this place to find the right fit for your home. We worked with Cheryl to adopt a lovely kitten, she was very responsive to texts even outside of rescue hours and kept us up to date every step of the adoption process. We visited twice to make sure our kitten was going to be a good match. The older cats had a large setup where they could go inside or outdoors to play and there were so many sweet cats there that needed homes, and each one had their own personality. Cheryl told me some people spend hours in the cat rooms meeting everyone and that's certainly true, I ended up there for a few hours each visit and fell in love with so many. If you're looking for a kitty please go here! We were also able to meet the senior cats and there were many sweet, lower energy seniors needing homes. To top it off their kitten room was amazing! Plenty of towers, toys and other kittens to keep them happy and entertained. I can't recommend this place enough, and thank them so much for our sweet girl!

This is a very special place. There are so many cats and dogs that have been rescued. The people here are wonderful, especially Cheryl. If you love animals and want a pet this is a good place to find one.

They do incredible work, we got our cat here and regularly donate to support them

I'm sure they can use all the help they can get... ask for Dennis...they are all very nice and a great place
Yes,you can.
Take a training class call and ask for the next date
Yes, and space is limited. Adopting a new friend saves the lives of two because it allows them to take in a new animal. 🐾🐱🐶🐾
Open every day except Tuesday. Abandonedpetrescue.org
Most places have an adoption fee of some kind. It can be anything from a small cash donation. To a recovery fee for neutering or spading.
If they are not at capacity , but they will give you some food or meds if needed till you find them a home or have room
Hi take your cat there and they will definitely take her she. Its great place for all cats and dogs
They will definitely take newspapers. No glossy ads or inserts that are stapled. They are open weekdays (except Tuesday) from noon to 5pm.
I believe they are a no kill shelter so yea they should keep him until someone adopts him
Yes. For Veterinarian purposes, putting up for adoption, and to visit.
Definitely spayed & Neutered. I'm almost sure Microchipped & Vaccinated as well. Call them up. A special cat or dog, is waiting for you now! 😺
They do! ✌️
I don’t personally work for them. But i believe you can reach out and see if they have the space. I would reach out on the phone vs email.
You can. Try to find a no kill shelter
It will be best to call and find if they charge or not. However, some facilities do charge a fee depending on the pets, sizes and your location.
They do but best to call first and tell them what you have.
free yes, donations are a good idea. probably not going to leave with a dog the same day as they have paperwork and an interview process. ive been waiting on a kitten for 4 weeks now to pass their health test.
They close at 5, but normally someone is there until 6 630
I haven't been there in a few weeks, but to my knowledge, they only have dogs and cats. A little bigger, but adorable.
You can try they may be full depending on if she is big or small...do not take to a kill shelter like Broward she will probably get killed...I hope you reconsider and move somewhere she is FAMILY
Call the office
Mmmmm
That's an in person experience. I was there ..everyone is very friendly there .. must be the food lol
Why are you afraid to pick up a phone and call ?
Spay neutering call them
No you cannot take them home the same day. My fiancé was told no. Took almost 2 weeks but could be less depending the animal.
It would be best if you could foster them if there is no space at the shelter. They will photo and advertise to help them get adopted. Call first.
When you call their voicemail they will tell you if they have room. If not try United dog rescue, the staff there is much nicer.
Not sure if they do but I would definitely go down of abandoned pet rescue they have amazing animals up for adoption. Good luck!
No friend they do not take iguanas at this time.
I'm not sure. The best thing to do is to call the center. All the best to you and your 2 dogs.
Call Abandoned pet rescue, if they are full they will give you some ideas.
Yes they do
Give them a call and explain the situation
They are full. You should call them or visit them.
Great, what is the latest I can drop it off
They don't charge. It's about if they have the space since they don't kill. You should call them
Abandoned pets in lake ridge
Ir crazy read people writing about animals like of they are packages that can cost you to drop. So very careless about the dog. Sad. In any case you need to contact them they are full most of the time since they are no kill rescue.
There are other no kill shelters in Broward County as well if APR does not have space. You can also ask perople to foster the animal(s) until a permanent home can be found.
They do have volunteers, I'm not sure if you'll get credit for it.
They do if they aren't full.
It is a no kill animal rescue for cats and dogs. I suggest contacting Abandoned Pet Rescue to find out how the work with the animals.
