It is a nice park to celebrate oh do any activity with family and friends.

Officially sunrise to sundown. However, if there is a baseball game, that area to the west of the park will be open later. Also, the east gate opens at 6am, before the sun comes up, and people can come in to walk/run on the paths.

I have an inflatable kayak I like to take out from the boat launch next to the paddle boat rental place. I usually have luck around the island straight out from there.

There is no signage saying you can't, but always a good idea to check with a park ranger. They are always around. Or you can go with the "seek forgiveness rather than permission" route ;)

Just as Laurel stated you can rent bikes kayaks and canoes absolutely. Now go out there and enjoy this wonderful Park. If you're a little wobbly on bicycles I also saw that they had a tricycle there. They have dedicated bicycle paths that make it easy even for a neophyte.

Not that I'm aware of. I'm there every weekend and never seen a rental spot for bikes. You can rent a canoe kayak and paddle boat.

There are no trails specifically for biking, but there are paved pathways all around the park which can be used for biking.
