The pros, beautiful ambiance. Has brunch and portions were good (not what I see for there dinner/lunch based on other reviews I see with pictures.) Waitress was very good. Food tasted pretty good. Now the cons. Very limited menu and I do mean very. We got two sprites and it cost $12. Pricey menu which they could get away with if they had a bigger selection because of the ambiance and location. The restaurant was almost empty and Sunday afternoons should be high traffic. Parking in the area you will probably pay $6 to feel like you're not going to go over your time. If they increased there menu selection and dropped price for drinks and especially there soda they would probably get more business. Overly cold inside 🥶 The bottom line - I would not return to this restaurant based on my experience, unless they increase there menu selection and stop over charging for sodas. There are simply far better local restaurants with more options much better value. The price you see is for 3 orders of fried chicken with waffles. 2 Sprite soda. One coffee. There menu said $15 for my salmon and eggs Benedict which they overcharged for extras without explaining. They charged $8 for the bacon making it seem like it was option that came with the food and not another up charge.

One of the worst meals I've had in a while. There was not one vegan option and the regular meals were not easy to adjust (all salads had cheese, meat, eggs). Our waitress had no idea how to advise on substitutions. I asked for a substitution for the sour cream with the potato latkes. They wound up charging me instead. No refill was offered for my nearly $5 iced tea. So for a plate of potato latke fries with a small side of applesauce, a small bowl of berries, and an iced tea plus tip, I paid $25. Needless to say I will not be back. Every restaurant nowadays is able to accommodate me when I say I'm vegan, including other Italian restaurants. Please consider this when you update your menu.

Staff is always friendly and attentive. Colorful decor in a great location. They have both an indoor and outdoor bar with the outdoor heaters for these chilly winter nights.

What happened to the old Tanzy? We have eaten here many times and last month had a less than average experience after a movie (iPic was great) The quality of food was worse than dive bar food. We again went to a movie upstairs and gave Tanzy another chance yesterday evening. We had hoped that it had just been a bad day for Tanzy last month. We started with Formaggi tastings. It came out with an ant on the board and the grilled focaccia tasted as if the oily bread was sitting, got stale, then toasted. Our waitress, Alexis, was just wonderful. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. She brought us out some fresh Italian bread. But the plate was so lackluster, under seasoned and just overall sad tasting. We will not be back until we hear about some changes

They do a temperature check before you ever the space and the tables are socially distanced.
I went on christmas day for dinner a few years ago and it was great!
