I was looking for a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I saw mechanics in motion had great reviews and decided to go with them, and I’m very glad I did. They really are excellent. Our mechanic was Adil, and his diagnostic service on the car saved us thousands of dollars. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward when it came to what was wrong with the car. Adil showed us every detail and explained why the car, in his opinion as an experienced mechanic, might not be worth the investment. He really had our best interest in mind the entire time, and because of that we dodged the bullet on a car that was not worth purchasing. HIGHLY recommended this company to anyone looking for a mechanic.

I would like to share my experience with my car repair service. When I called , I was instructed to wait a few and someone will get back to me and I waited and no one ever did. That left me with my car with inoperable door locks that day. I was replacing door actuators. I could have used that time to find another mobile mechanic repair service, perhaps they were just busy that day. The estimates were fair and the mechanic was a nice person but I was a little disappointed that I found that my brand new car seat covers got stained. Then I had to sign paper work that states if they break small parts I have to pay for it. I'm not too sure if I'll call them back. I'm not being negative here just want to share how my experience was.

On average, brake pads begin to wear out around the 20,000- to 30,000-mile mark, but there are many factors that may impact this figure.
Aside from engine oil, there are many other fluids that are vital to the health of your vehicle. Some examples include the transmission fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant, and power-steering fluid.
The consensus agrees that a driver should get an oil change every 3,000 to 7,000 miles or every three months. However, you can always refer to your owner's manual which covers the recommended oil change interval for your specific make and model. Many of today's newer vehicles will actually tell you when they are due for service. Remember: an oil change is essential because it acts as a lubricant for the internal cogs and gears under the hood. Without it, oil can turn into sludge and prohibit your vehicle from operating correctly.

It is best to have the cooling system flushed at the intervals recommended by the manufacturer. Having the system flushed once a year is commonly recommended if the vehicle is driven regularly. Coolant breaks down over time, becoming corrosive which can cause premature failure of gaskets and seals. The idea is to replace the coolant before it gets contaminated to avoid costly repairs.
Engine oil not only loses its lubrication quality or viscosity over time, but it also collects acids and other by products of combustion such as water. These substances are enemies of bearings, other metal surfaces, seals and gaskets. Even though oils are continuing to increase in lubrication quality, the substances in suspension do damage to the internal engine components.
