This review is only for the small goods store. I did not have a pleasant experience here. First of all, it’s way way over priced even for a specialty good store, you’re better off buying online and paying for shipping. I had several items where the packaging was damaged and the goods have expiration dates that were past due; British expiration dates are backwards but no matter how I read it they were expired which was basically explained by: Well, they don’t typically have dates so even though that one has a date that expired 6 months ago it’s fine because they don’t usually expire. The product was one of Mr. Kiplings pies and every other shop I looked at had a warning for this product saying it needed to be consumed quickly because they do expire. I tried it and while I don’t think I’ll be sick, it definitely tasted old, the crust was dry and hard and the custard was extremely oily, it didn’t good. The worst part of the experience was the customer service; I called beforehand and explained the situation and was assured that they would take care of it and solve the problem- that’s not what happened at all. I had three employees and a supervisor all making excuses/explanations as to why they wouldn’t be taking any action. I wasted gas, money, and time. Don’t waste your time or your money. If you do shop, look at expiration dates and packaging quality. I don’t recommend this place and won’t be shopping here again.

I wanted to try traditional afternoon tea and was not disappointed. Luckily for me, I manage to get a reservation on last minute. They offered almost sixty varieties of tea. Food was excellent and service was too. Only drawback will be too much caffeine as you enjoy the tea.
