Our stay with Linda and Norm was absolutely perfect. We loved walking along the bay in the mornings and sitting in the beautiful garden in the evening. We didn’t end up using the pool, but it was still nice to have that as an option. Our room was spotless and so cozy we can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we visit San Diego in the future.

We had a great stay at Beach Hut Bed & Breakfast! The room was sparkling clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The Garden Room was very quiet and had a big dedicated parking space right outside the room which made our visit even easier! We hope to come back again during the summer so we can take advantage of the pool and lovely outdoor patio. I recommend a stay!

My wife and I wanted to take a last minute getaway. We had been to San Diego a few times before, so this time wanted to try something a little different. Beach Hut B&B came up several times in our search for a place to stay, and the reviews made it sound like just what we were looking for. Beach Hut B&B did not disappoint. While not in the heart of San Diego, we were within a short 5-10 minute driving distance of everything we wanted to do (Old Town, Liberty Public Market, Belmont Park). There was beach access directly across the street. The beachwalk around Mission Bay made for a perfect morning stroll. Just down the street was a beach park with a view of Sea World where we watched boaters as we relaxed and took in some sun. Beach Hut B&B only has two rooms. We had originally requested the Tuscan room. Unfortunately, that room was not available during our weekend. Linda and Norm were very accommodating in moving our reservation to the Garden Room. The best part is, we ended up having the whole place to ourselves. The Garden Room room turned out to be very nice. We had a dedicated parking spot. The property is gated with a security code for entry. The room was very cozy quiet, with a faux fireplace. The garden area with the fountains and wind chimes was peaceful. They have a small plunge pool - which was too cold to enjoy this trip, but made for great pictures - and a fire pit for lounging in the evenings. For the mornings, they stock the room with everything you need for a satisfying breakfast. You can request bagels, English muffins, waffles, muffins, cereal & milk, egg bites, yogurt, fruit, juice, Keurig coffee and all of the necessary accompaniments. You provide your choices in advance, and everything is in the room when you arrive. The kitchenette has all of the necessary equipment and utensils you need. Thank you Linda & Norm. Beach Hut B&B was exactly what we were hoping for in a quiet, relaxing getaway. We will definitely consider staying here again when in the San Diego area.
