My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost 2 years. They were THE ONLY apartment complex that seemed more than willing to work with us because we were a couple moving from Hawaii. Another apartment complex wanted us to have over $10,000 in our bank account JUST to move it! Not these guys! Mark made it SO easy to transition. When we arrived after hours, he left the door unlocked for us to move in with all of our pre-ordered furniture thoughtfully placed inside ready for us to unravel. We met Mark the next day and he sincerely seemed excited for us to join the community. Rent has steadily gone up, but it's not management's decision. However, the many of us that have been residents for a while have received some leniency in the increase and plenty fair warning. In comparison to other apartments, these ones are a steal! My partner and I have just had a son and grew out of our one bedroom apartment. Thankfully, management had our backs and did everything within their power to ease us into whichever larger unit our hearts desired, without judgement. These apartments are 10 minutes or less away from EVERYTHING, including hospitals, shopping centers, and schools. When I went into labor I was at the hospital doors in 7 minutes! It's right across from a park, which has an amazing playground, two tennis courts, a skate park, a BMX park, and a dog park! There is a safe cross walk with flashing lights to allow us to simply walk there. It's across from a graveyard as well, which is a very peaceful place we like to walk through. And it's right next to The Human Bean! The maintance man, Ray, is a gentle, hardworking man who lives onsite! You'll see him busting his butt every day trying to make everyone happy. The pool is well maintained and never too noisy, the community room is a great place to watch football games, and the sauna is SO relaxing! The parking lot was just fully re-done, the back porch fences (for bottom floor units) are really high for safety and privacy, and the closets are HUGE! Now there are some cons: I hate spiders and ants; and they seem to be EVERYWHERE here. They spray, but nature seems unaffected. I can only assume it has to do with the beautiful trees throughout the complex-which provide a lot of good shade in the summer and privacy for some porches. The community washer/dryer room has some pretty unruly units in there. Mainly the washing machines- they smell sour, they have built up detergent, and there once was blood drug across 4 of them for at least 2 weeks. Management says that the company that actually owns the washers only comes through every once in a while to clean them. I can only assume that if Ray cleaned them it might affect a warranty or something. Oh well! The complex isn't very handicapped friendly, either. I'm sure there are some units that aren't incredibly difficult to access with a wheel chair, crutches, or bad joints, but if you wants to go to the pool, take out the trash, or use the community room/community washer dryer/workout room you'll have a difficult time. However, I'm willing to bet management would figure something out to try to help. Also, if you live below someone, you'd better hope they're light footed. These units were built with beams in between the ceiling and floor above. In turn, anything that happens above you will echo into your unit. On the plus side-you don't hear a peep from those beside you! So if you can, go for top floor units! And I wish the workout room were a bit more roomy. If they could downsize the community room to expand the workout room, I think that'd be awesome! It's really a one person kind of room with a quirky treadmill, a bow flex thing, and an eliptical. It does have AC and a shower though! That's pretty nice! Also, the complex is nearby a VERY triggering merge lane. Outside, you can hear people honking very aggressively. I've learned to avoid it entirely by going the back way. And lastly, we have had issues with car breakins, being in such a high traffic area. But they've adjusted their camera system to try and help prevent that!

Although started out a good experience, series of management changes have led to experiencing rent increases, poor communication all while property becomes less desirable with removal of landscaping to handle long-standing deferred maintenance and not replacing leaving stumps, poor lawn quality, and dirt instead. Built in 70s, insulation is very poor - sound travels readily, and some sounds would be much better not heard! Slow drains, outlets loose and not working, cable (unresolvable missing channels) and internet connections unreliable, not replacing trash compactors as they age out or break. Unfulfilled promises, such as free Wifi and secure bike racks which are needed as there have been repeated thefts. Difficult to enter/exit property safely during heavy traffic times unless you want to drive out of your way. New pedestrian light helps pedestrian traffic going to Bear Creek Park- less sounds of screeching brakes now. Although nice to have concerts/movies in park, expect parking/congestion issues from it. Have been in two different units, moving out of first one after a few months experiencing problems when working from home and with school due to unresolvable cable/internet issues (Charter blames building/siding, prop manager blames Charter). In the almost 2-1/2 years in 2nd unit, there have been 4 turnovers in the apartment above. Corporate rental (found out right after I moved in) in a building that is filled with children in the surrounding units - makes me wonder how diligent they are with background checks of the people coming and going all the time. It's expensive to move. Keep looking - even with low vacancy rate, I believe you can do better.

We moved in about 3 years ago. The managers were super helpful. They have answered all our questions, this place is very quiet, the location is perfect close to everything. I wish I could give a higher number then 3. This place is a 10
