I feel sorry for the musicians they have to perform in such a hole. The Sinclair is an outdated, dark, uncomfortable place with so-so sound. The old tiled floor reminds me of a soviet public restroom. The stage lighting is insufficient. I feel like the owners do not care about the visitors: until they have the full schedule and this great location, they have no motivation to do the renovation. I was there twice: before and after the pandemic and from both performances (which I loved!) I have this poor aftertaste of this club. I hope this review would encourage the owners to improve the club or musicians to look for a better place to play their concerts. Guys, we live in 21 century and you ought to move forward. It's a shame you stack in 70th - the world moves forward.

I saw Valley here Fun venue! Mostly standing room with a bar in it. Sound was great and the atmosphere was equally great!

This is a Very preeminent venue right in Cambridge! Had a great time. Parking was easy to find. The Sinclair sign out front makes it easy to find as well. Right around the corner from Harvard Square. Super Friendly helpful staff and really pleasant bartenders. Mixed Drinks were well done and fairly priced. Inside is well spaced, easy to maneuver around and you're able to see the stage with no problem. The U-shaped upper level gives you options to sit while watching. You can see the performers from here with ease. High Fives ALL around to The Sinclair!

Great venue! Intimate venue with affordable drinks and some of the best bands! Always clean and parking is easy with the garage nearby. Great view from everywhere, finally checked out the mezzanine and it was awesome! Can't wait to go back!

There is an elevator that you can use to go up to the top level. You'd have to make arrangements to get a chair.
The floor is standing room only but up in the mezzanine there are a few tables and chairs.
Not at the moment, no. Once shows resume in July, you'll be able to purchase tickets at the box office any night that we have a show. We also plan on resuming weekday box office hours - timeline on that is TBD for now.
The Royale website should indicate whether it's sold out.
In all likelihood, u will have stand for over an hour if the band is popular. No place to sit. It's just an open space.
The restaurant and venue are two separate rooms. There are a limited number of tables in the venue located in the balcony which are available on a first come, first served basis.
Yes! It’s seasonal, meaning it’s not open in the summer. But open in the winter and cold months of spring and fall.
Just talk about them separately. They're still both "The Sinclair" and the difference between their doors is a couple meters at most. Just talk about it specifically
" if you are under the age of 18 you may enter an 18+ show, but you MUST be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian. This does not apply for 21+ shows where you MUST be 21+ and over to enter" from their website
There are two parking garages on University Road, behind the Charles Hotel, which I find to have spaces, reliably. It is a short walk from there to the Sinclair - perhaps 5 minutes. The Church Street lot is always full, by the time I get there, and finding a spot on the street is dependent on being lucky enough to come along right after someone vacated one.
