They really do seem to only buy the weirdest things in your wardrobe, and then when you try to shop you can't find anything because all the clothes are ugly or sized for American Girl dolls. They also have a weird tendency to not buy back things you bought from them in the first place but haven't worn. From what I've gathered, it's because of the management system. Corporate offices set guidelines for what's good or bad nationwide without much consideration of what people actually wear in your region. And the buyers can be fired for taking too many items that upper management deems unworthy. Not worth it. Goodwill is right next door and they've got a really efficient pipeline that does more for the environment and struggling communities than Buffalo Exchange does. With Goodwill, the profits (especially on nicer stuff) go towards job training for the disadvantaged. At BE, you'll get a few dollars in cash or a little more for in-store credit so you can shop the lackluster inventory they've got. If you need the money, go for it. But otherwise, the way this company operates is pretty off.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a store. I came in at 3:30 to sell a small bag of just 7 clothes. When I walked in they said they’d put me on a list and that it would be 15 minutes. In the meantime, I walked around the store and went to try things on in the fitting room. Someone shouted my name while I was in the fitting room that it was my appointment time, so I immediately rushed out. Then when I got out they said they already skipped me so they would put me next on the list (with 1 person ahead of me). I said that was completely fine and that I would wait upstairs this time. I did not want to miss my name being called the second time so I waited next to the counter. I waited for 45 minutes. At this point I was wondering why it was taking so long so I asked them for a time estimate on when my name would be called. This employee exclaimed “oh it looks like they called your name a while ago and skipped you so you aren’t on the list.” ??? This wasn’t true because I haven’t left my spot near the counter. I tried to explain this but the employee kept cutting me off and insinuating it was my fault. This particular employee was the rudest person I have ever interacted with in a store. I’m a very non-confrontational person and hate inconveniencing people so I was fine waiting an hour with no complaints, but I have never had someone cut me off like that and not even listen to me while I was talking to them. I don’t think I will ever shop at Buffalo Exchange again and hope management trains their employees to be more respectful —especially to customers who have already been waiting patiently.

This place thinks there slick!! The sales person creates an amount so they can buy it themselves! How you bring in items that cost $50 and up and all the items are valued at $2, $4, or maybe $11? Someone needs to really look into this scam situation! I don’t see how they pick and choose either when all used stuff is needed for all sizes? Place is a joke! Come in with bags full of ish! And only one item is chosen for $4? Just have a yard sale you’ll make more money! Facts!

Had such a fun and unique experience at this store! The clothes are so cute and the staff is super helpful. It's a must visit if you're ever in the Boston area.

First, they you would have to reserve a time slot. Then keep cleaned for a day. All of this for less than you are going to ask. They'd probably offer less than $30 with store credit.
Yes you have to call and make an appointment tho
Its open now! Hours are different tho
try your luck!
Yes, this Buffalo Exchange is right in Davis Square. You can also purchase gift cards here: https://www.buffaloexchange.com/gift-cards/
Likely so if in good shape and current season and fashion.
It's worth a try. Unless it's straight up winter gear, and if it's in good shape, they might take it.
You just bring them in, its first come first served.
