I have been using an Iphone 8 with a broken screen for a year with no problems. I decided to upgrade, fix my screen so I can give my old phone to my mom. His screens caused ghost touch. He would say let me order a better brand … very time consuming resulting in problem after problem. The screens he used were way too sensitive. You press eight once it registers three times and you are locked out of your phone. Ghost touch is very unpleasant and at one point sent a safari page to someone. He would say let me order a better brand this time then he would say it was my phone’s problem not the screen. The ghost touch started when he replaced the screen. Apple agreed with me. Apple screens are too complex for many unauthorized dealers to fix.
