Nice theatre facility Sept 2022 Unsure when I’d written this review; had to be after my first show at Wilson years ago. Not only did I like the facility, I have become a volunteer and am proud to be a part of Superstars who ensure that all who visit the facility and those who attend the shows enjoy their experience!

Nice venue in a great location
Chaz W
Nice venue, my one complaint is the seating - it's older and absolutely uncomfortable many of the cushions are worn under coverings to the point you can feel the chair framing (we were in the orchestra seating "B")
Dan Walsh
Awesome acoustics for concerts and plays. Very clean and inviting. Seating is very comfortable. Love going there.

Leonard, thanks for your question! As of right now, there are no Temptations dates scheduled at the Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College. However, we are always announcing new shows, so please keep an eye on our website (www.WilsonCenterTickets.com) for our up-to-date events and show times!
Hi Sara! As Carolyn mentioned, we do have assisted listening devices. When you arrive at the Center for a performance, please see one of our volunteers at the Guest Services desk to check one out. ALDs connect through an FM transmitter to the sound system in the theater. Guests have the option to choose between standard headphones or a T-Coil loop that communicates with T-Coil hearing devices. Please let us know if we can assist with anything else!
Hi Sara! If you want a better idea of what the view would look like from each section, check out our interactive seating chart: https://wilsoncentertickets.com/seating-chart/. You are also free to stop by the Center during our administrative hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm) to take a look at the performance hall. Our volunteers would be happy to show you as long as the hall is available. Let us know if we can assist with anything else!
Go to the Wilson Center website and choose the seats. You can puchase them online. They use Vendini (sp?)app. Or you can have them mailed to you. It's a great venue. You won't be disappointed. I have seen Tony Bennett, Chris Issak and Kansas there! Enjoy!
Call the box office or check the event seating chart online.
Hi Robert! Yes, parking opens 1.5 hours before showtime. You can find more information on parking here: https://wilsoncentertickets.com/parking/.
The show is 2 hrs 40 min with intermission. Let us know if we can assist with anything else!
There's a parking deck across the street from the entryway of the Wilson Center
I was there two weeks ago and did not have to wear a mask
Parking is located directly next to the venue in the Student Hanover Parking Deck (200 Hanover St). Parking is $10 per vehicle, but you can save 20% if you buy a parking pass in advanced. Please see https://wilsoncentertickets.com/parking/ for more information!
Allen, different events may have VIP packages available and those can usually be found on the event booking page at www.wilsoncentertickets.com. These package may include premium seating, merchandise, meet-and-greet opportunities, and more; they are determined by the tours. If you have attended an event at the Wilson Center and seen our Director's Club pre-show reception, and are wondering about that -- the Director's Club is open to our Wilson Center Members. If you are interested in becoming a Wilson Center Member, you will find further information here (https://wilsoncentertickets.com/members/). Hope this helps!
Hi Trudy! Mask and vaccination requirements vary on a show-by-show basis and the artist/tour/renter is responsible for determining these requirements. Please consult our health & safety page for the latest information: https://wilsoncentertickets.com/covid-19/.
No. Bring a mask
I would call the box office and ask

Sylvia, I just looked on the website (www.wilsoncentertickets.com) and tickets ARE still available. It looks like you can buy them online, or in-person or by phone. The box office, called Ticket Central, is open M-F from 2pm to 6 pm. Hope that help!
Great question! At the present time, Cape Fear Community College does not have any recording studios on its campuses.
Rita, tickets for the Isley Brothers start at $40 plus taxes and fees. You can always find our events, and ticket prices at our website: www.WilsonCenterTickets.com. Hope this helps!
Christine, great question! The Illusionists: Magic of the Holidays is part of our PNC Broadway season this year, and we will be announcing both single-ticket and package subscription on-sale dates VERY soon. Please keep an eye on both our web site (www.WilsonCenterTickets.com) and our FB page for updated information. Stay tuned! :-)
There's not a bad seat in the house.
I agree, never had a bad seat anywhere in the Wilson Center.
Robert, the StarNews published the date of the Boyz II Men concert incorrectly. The actual date of the concert is MAY 31, at 7:30 p.m. As of right now (3/22/2019, 11:30 a.m.) there are plenty of seats left. If you ever have any questions about show dates or information, or what ticket availability is like, please visit www.WilsonCenterTickets.com, or call Ticket Central at 910.362.7999. Hope this helps!
Diane, yes we do! To get onto our mailing list, simply go to www.wilsoncentertickets.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page. On the left hand side, in a box labelled "Stay In Touch", you will find a big gold button labelled "Join Our Mailing List"! If you click that button and fill out the form completely, you will be added to our list. That way, you'll get the most up-to-date information as shows are announced, any special announcements that we have, etc. Hope this helps!
Gail, the first thing you would need to do is go to www.wilsoncentertickets.com/volunteer/ and fill out the applications. As soon as there are openings in the volunteer program, our Volunteer Coordinator will bring in new candidates and get them trained up. But the first step is the application :-)
On Friday, January 25th, we had Pattie LaBelle, and on Saturday, January 26th, the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra played at the Wilson Center.
Ticket Central is now closed for the holidays, but will reopen Jan 3 @ 2pm.you can still buy tickets online 24/7, though. All details are on their website, Www.capefearstage.com or Wilsoncentertickets.com. You can also verify this in their Facebook page or by phone.
Beth, the dates you asked about are the performance of the National Broadway Tour of Jersey Boys, which is subtitled "The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons". It is NOT the rescheduled date of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons performing live in concert. That rescheduled date has not yet been announced. So, the tickets you hold will still be valid at that rescheduled date. However, if you would like to seek a refund, simply contact Ticket Central (910.362.7999) and they will be able to discuss your options. Remember, however, that if you do refund your tickets, you will no longer have seats for Frankie Valli once the new date is announced.
Doris, the Ticket Central box office is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Gift Certificates ARE available, and the best way to purchase them is through Ticket Central. You can call and speak to a ticket agent between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, or walk in and purchase in person during those same hours.
Jan, if you are referring to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, that tour was one of the first national Broadway Tours that came to the Wilson Center and was here on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. If you enjoy Broadway shows, check out our current PNC Broadway season at www.capefearstage.com
Pam, the Wilson Center staff is working with the CFCC Administration to assess the safety of the building and to set our re-opening plan. The safety of our guests, performers and staff is of the utmost importance to us, so we will not re-open until it is safe to do so. Further, we are in contact with all performers scheduled to appear at the Wilson Center to keep them apprised of the situation. To stay up-to-date regarding postponements or cancellations, please follow us on facebook @capefearstage, or, if you are on our email list, please keep an eye on your email. Also, if you have tickets to a specific event, we will communicating any changes to ticketholders via the email and telephone numbers they provided when purchasing those tickets. However, if tickets were purchased through a third-party reseller, we likely have no way to contact those buyers directly. Please be safe as you recover from this storm, Pam!
Attended Frankie Vali and the four seasons concert last night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Awesome show and Frankie still able to hit the high notes. If you can, go see it
The event info on the website usually notes performance length and other pertinent information.
Yeah because everyone is going to think that's right. LOL
Call or check online
Check the event information online for detailed information.
I'd go to the wilson center website
ZZ Top performed at the Wilson Center on October 5, 2017.
