ER - Going through the motions but some almost indifferent to concerns. 7 hour wait, no real resolution. Was told if we still had concerns, we can always go to another ER. Rest of Hospital 4/5

Arrived with my 87 yr old mother to the ER, waited in waiting room for 5-1/2 hrs, called 3-1/2 hrs during wait time for CT scan and not seen by a doctor, for verbal preliminary, to ask what the health issue was, til 5-1/2 hrs after arrival. Waited another hour and a half before getting called for care in triage. Finally seen by doctor who tended to my mother's bloody head wound, but 3-1/2 hrs later she is waiting for neck CT results 8-1/2 hours after arrival and 5-1/2 hours after test was taken. Terrible healrh care service. You shouldn't have to come to an Energency Care Unit and wait 9 hours and still counting and waiting for care. Will never come to this institution again and I will not recommend it to anyone. Go anywhere else but Lenoir Hospital.
