WOW! We happened upon The Knitting Room when my family was looking for an arts or crafts workshop or class around Woodstock on a rainy day. We were SO happy we gave them a call and they were able to accommodate us last-minute for a “Hat in a Day” knitting class. May was an amazing teacher and an amazing person — we enjoyed not just her instruction, but also learning about her as a person. And her business partner Zairi was just as warm and welcoming… and a talented barista to boot! My whole family — from novice to intermediate — enjoyed our class and left with an adorable hat that was a perfect representation of each of us. We had such a great time, we couldn’t help but leave with some extra yarn and a new hobby to enjoy back home. We’d absolutely return if we were back in town!
