Bought one of their parts kit builds, it was a flat out dangerous gun. Shot multiple times with a single trigger pull, sheared brass casings off in the chamber, just an overall lack of QC on a thousand dollar rifle. Then when I tried to have them fix it they ignored me completely 3 times!! I still have heard zero response from them. Completely irresponsible builders that do not know what they are doing. Had to pay a local gunsmith to fix their incompetency.

I own two James River Armory M72 RPK’s. The attention to detail on these rifles is great. The front sights are straight and the blueing is excellent. The action on these AK’s are some of the smoothest I have worked. I would rate the actions next to the two Arsenal AK’s I also own. Don’t let the some of the bad reviews fool you. This company builds some of the best surplus military rifles out there!

I am currently helping a customer fix his James River Armory M70B2 rifle. They did everything possible wrong on this gun. The rivets are bad the sights are canted but worse of all the barrel pin can be removed with a pen!!’ This is gun could’ve killed somebody! The fact this left the door tells me what kind of garbage this company puts out. If you value your life at all do not buy!
