Quality military museum with good rotation of exhibits.

The best museum you will go to!!! It is free entry but leave a donation. There are many important facts so give yourself time to read & soak in the history. Great artifacts & personal accounts are abundant. (No flash photography). There is usually a movie feature & also a simulator. A gift shop has some good military history books (some autographed) & the normal shirts/mugs/decals, etc. Plenty of parking. Entire museum has wheelchair accessibility (auto doors, gentle ramps, handle stalls in bathroom). Highly recommend. P.S. look up to see the overhead displays and leave a donation.

It is free but it runs on donations. There is a $5 donation per person ideal that if each person does then the place can continue to run. $5 isn't much and it truly makes the place possible.

The sign asks not to bring them in, but they don't check. Parking lot is right next to museum and looks pretty safe.

Yes. All donations to ASOMF are tax deductible within limits of federal and state laws. You can make memorial donations and/ or purchase a paver in memory of your loved ones.
They should be, I believe they're closed Monday Tuesday check their website to be sure. If you drive in Fayetteville be aware of the red light cameras that they are using.
