We scattered our momβs ashes at sea. Captain Curtis and his deckhand Terry were wonderful. They did a great job supporting us and making the experience easy and peaceful. Thank you very much.

Iβve fished with Garibaldi Charters several times. Each time they have been professional and helpful on every trip. The owner (Tamara) has been a deck hand, fish cleaner, worked the counter in the store and just about anything needed to make our fishing trip a success. The trip we took on July 2nd was the best one so far. We limited out on fish in 2 hours, and pulled in crab pots with 2 crabs for everyone that had paid for the combination trip. I read a review that said their trip was terrible - no tuna, salmon and very few crabs. Anyone that has ever gone on one of these trips knows there isnβt a fishing trip where you catch tuna, and salmon on the same trip. They use different bait and are different lengths of trips. The employees and owners of this charter service are very professional and will work very hard to make your trip a success. Thank you for a VERY successful trip. Iβll be back next year..

Fantastic day and budget friendly. The light tackle trip was So worth it!!! Captain Marty did exactly what he said he would do, put us on the fish. Me and my wife cough our limit of rock fish and ended the day with a tank of a lingcod. I felt like I was getting in the way of Deck hand Misty though π she was every where at once, helping everyone. What an experience. Next up, the halibut adventure.
Bob lo
First Halibut charter and were blessed with luck. Arriving at the area where the Halibut were located, I landed my first- over 20 lbs. Minutes later, I landed another- over 30 lbs. Of course, I kept the lager one. Our boat captain was excellent in being at the right place while miles away from shore. Everyone limited out of Ling and Rock fish and Halibut. As well, we brought home some crabs to end the day. This is a trip very worthwhile and I would do it again...once I run out of Halibut. Trip date: 6/2/22

We usually stay within about 1 mile from shore, but we may go up or down the coast to get to the best fishing spot on any given day. There are several spots that are between 45 min and 1 hr travel time, but there are also some that can be very productive that are 1.5-2 hrs away. So, just depends on the day the length of time to the fishing spot! Usually those trips are 4-6 hours regardless.
We went in June. Was kinda cold still in the morning. Our group cought the most on the boat. I wanna say it was like 150$. We got crabs too. Totally worth it. Will do it again when we go back.
It depends on what kind of fishing. It may vary from 200 to 400 gor both.
Depends on what kind of fishing. Salmon 200$, regular fishing around 120$
We do have a 7 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations inside that timeframe are a 50% charge if we can't fill the seat. Any cancellations with less than 24 hrs notice are full charge. Thanks for asking!
We are currently just taking contact info on our call list. If we are able to go for tuna (similarly we have only had tuna in close enough to us 1 out of the last 5 years) we will call or email people to let them know we have dates on the calendar. August is traditionally the time we would see fish, so if they come in we may have a trip during that time. I would say go ahead and enter your info on our call list on our website under the tuna description and we'll go from there!
Depends on what type of fishing! We have bottom fishing trips from $130. Salmon is $200-$225.
On our whale watching trips, it really depends on the whales! We don't encroach on their space by moving our boat too close, but often they will come close to us. If we locate a whale or group of whales that is moving along at a steady rate, we can often cruise along beside them - close enough for a great picture!
No sorry ( must be thinking of another company??) - Fishing is NOT gauranteed otherwise it would be called Catching :) :)
Fishing trips available that day, starting at $95. Check out our calendar to see which trips are open at garibaldicharters.com Thanks!
We actually only sell 1 day fishing license here at the office. Only yearly license we are able to sell is in-state crabbing yearly. You can go to ODFW and do it online or sporting goods store
We do not have a resident pod here so we usually do our whale watches in March & April as this is when they migrate through. During June and July we do an Eco Tour, where we go out and view other sea life/birds etc. -there is a slight chance of seeing whales but we do not sell this as a "whale watching" trip. All ages welcome, Children must wear life jacket while on board and we do supply them for 40 lbs + (anyone under 40 lbs needs to bring their own coast guard approved life jacket). This trip is $40/person
We booked their deep drop trip last summer and did not use electric reels. Loved it! Capt Lance and his deck hand were great.
The weather is hit or miss? Usually good.. the fishing has always been good for me. Are you bottom fishing?
I would not recommend bringing a child that young. Our trip was all day and would be way to much for a young one.
That should be fine, but please give us a call if you have concerns. Our main goal is that everyone has a great time. We do have trips that are suitable for kids 7 and up, so if you would like to talk with someone about options just give us a ring! 503-322-0007
Adding to above: I think it was $95 for the my combo fishing/crab fishing trip. I limited out on Rock Fish . I declined on my crab share, 2, as my wife is allergic. We saw whales on my trip. I had I had a great time.
Hi there, we won't be running August Halibut as we are already busy with bottom fishing on those dates. Let me know if you are interested in getting out on a Light Tackle or Deep Drop trip!
Hi Steve, Captain Chad usually fishes wherever the catching is the best! Fishing is moving from the ocean to the river at this point and the Chinook are definitely starting to show. Best to give us a call for a current report! 503-322-0007
Corrected - You need an Oregon License.
Bob yes 600$
Right now! Call for times!
Should be on their website. I I think it was like $200 per. On this side note, I've had a great experience with Garibaldi Charters and highly recommend them. Never seen a better or harder working deck hand. Limits for everyone.
If they are, their the best charter out there, we loved it, and caught a ton of fish & crab!!
